Complete onboarding in 5 minutes
A walk-through of the 6-step onboarding wizard — company info, service areas, website scan, and the auto-generated first ad creative.
What this is
Right after you verify your account, Odobba walks you through six short steps. The whole thing takes about five minutes. At the end, we auto-generate three ad creatives from your brand so you can launch your first campaign in another minute or two.
You can stop and resume — your progress is saved.
What we collect, step by step
Step 1 — Company info
- Company name. Use the exact name your customers know.
- Phone. The number you'd want a new client or applicant to call. Used in your ads as the call-to-action where appropriate.
- Click Continue.
Step 2 — Address
- Street, city, state, ZIP, country. Your business address.
- We use this to set the centre of your default targeting radius. You can adjust per campaign later.
Multiple locations?
Use your main office here. You'll add each service area in the next step — those are what drive ad targeting.
Step 3 — Service categories
- Pick a primary category — what your business mostly does. Options include home care, skilled nursing, physical therapy, mental health, companion care, senior living, and "other".
- Optionally tick additional categories. The primary one drives which ad styles we suggest first.
Step 4 — Service areas
- Click Add area.
- Type a city and pick state.
- Set a radius — the area around that city you serve, in miles. 10 miles is tight (one neighbourhood), 50 miles is wide (regional).
- Mark one area as Primary if you have multiple.
- Repeat for every city/region you cover. Most agencies need 1–3.

Step 5 — Website
-
Enter your website URL — we accept with or without
https://. -
Click Scan brand now if you want us to extract your logo, colors, and tone right then (recommended — takes 30 seconds). Or click Skip if you don't have a site yet.
-
While scanning, you'll see a spinner. When it finishes, a preview shows what we found.

-
Review it. Click Use this to accept, or Retry to scan a different URL.
If the scan fails or the result looks wrong, see My brand scan failed — what now?. You can always re-scan later in Settings → Brand.
Step 6 — Review
- Quick recap of everything you entered. Edit anything that looks off.
- Click Finish onboarding.
What happens right after
Onboarding goes straight into the first-creative chooser. We generate three ad variants from your brand and show them as cards. Each card has:
- The headline and body text.
- The image we built (logo composited onto a relevant background).
- A reason — "Why this works for your business" — so you can tell them apart.
Pick the one you like and click Launch this ad. If your wallet is empty, you'll be asked to top up first. After that the campaign goes live.
If you'd rather not launch right now, click Save for later and you'll land on the dashboard. The creatives stay available — you'll find them when you create your first campaign.
Common questions
Q: I closed the tab halfway through. Did I lose my progress? A: No. We save after every step. Log back in and you'll pick up where you stopped.
Q: I made a mistake — wrong service area, wrong category. Can I fix it? A: Yes, all of it. Onboarding fields are also editable in Settings. The website scan can be re-run from Settings → Brand.
Q: How long is the brand scan supposed to take? A: About 30 seconds. Up to a minute on slow sites. If it's still spinning after 90 seconds, retry it — likely a temporary hiccup.
Q: Do I have to scan my website? A: No. If you skip, we'll use a neutral default style for your first creatives. You can scan later when you have a site ready.
