Find your way around the dashboard

What this is

Once you've completed onboarding, you land on the dashboard. Here's what every part of it does so you can find things without hunting.

The sidebar (left)

The vertical bar on the left is your main navigation. From top to bottom:

  • Dashboard. Your home view — performance summary, recent leads, recent notifications.
  • Campaigns. All your ad campaigns: drafts, active, paused, ended.
  • Leads. Every person who's filled out your ad. Filter, update status, export to CSV.
  • Jobs. Caregiver postings tied to your recruitment campaigns. Optional — most home-care advertisers ignore this.
  • Lead forms. The forms shown inside your Meta ads. Reusable across campaigns.
  • Ad Intelligence. Browse competitor ads, save inspiration, get a weekly "gap report" telling you what other agencies are doing.
  • Wallet. Balance, transactions, top-ups.
  • Settings. Profile, company, brand, integrations.

You can collapse the sidebar to icons-only with the small arrow at the bottom — useful on smaller laptop screens.

The topbar (top)

Across the very top:

  • Page title (left). Shows which section of the app you're on.
  • Search (centre on wider screens). Quick-jump to campaigns or leads by typing a name.
  • Notification bell (right). A red badge appears when you have unread notifications — new lead, low balance, campaign paused, etc. Click any notification to jump straight to whatever it's about.
  • Your avatar (far right). Click for: Profile, Billing, Log out. If you're staff, you'll also see a red Staff portal link.

The dashboard home

When you click Dashboard in the sidebar, you see:

  • KPI cards — leads today, leads this month, spend this week, active campaigns.
  • Daily spend chart — last 7 days, shows trends.
  • Daily series — per-day impressions / clicks / leads / spend with platform breakdown.
  • Top campaigns — your three best by CPL (cost per lead).
  • Recent leads — last 5 leads with quick links to call / email.

If your dashboard is mostly empty, you probably haven't launched a campaign yet. See Launch your first ad — start to finish.

What changes once you have ads running

Things light up as data flows in:

  • Notification bell starts pinging.
  • KPI cards show real numbers.
  • Charts get more interesting.
  • The Leads inbox fills.

Most owners check the dashboard once a day for the first week, then weekly after that.

Common questions

Q: I clicked a notification and nothing happened. A: It might be pointing at a feature in a tab. If you land on a list page (like Leads) and don't see the specific thing you were notified about, try filtering — most notifications take you to a list view, not a single item.

Q: There's a red "Staff portal" link in my avatar menu. What's that? A: That's only visible to Odobba staff (super admin role). If you're seeing it on your own account, you were promoted — usually deliberately. Ignore it for normal use.

Q: Can I customise what's on the dashboard? A: Not yet. The layout is fixed in v1. If there's something you'd want surfaced, tell us — we're building based on customer requests.
